Why we built
Palisades Pediatric Center
When a family receives an autism diagnosis, the clock starts ticking. The research is unambiguous: early, intensive therapy produces the most significant and lasting outcomes. Yet in New York and New Jersey, the average waitlist for ABA services alone is 6 to 12 months, and families are then sent to separate providers for OT and SLP, each with their own waitlist and their own plan.
We built Palisades Pediatric Center to solve that problem. By bringing ABA, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology under one roof, we eliminated the fragmentation that forces families to coordinate three separate providers who rarely speak to each other.
We serve a small number of families intentionally. Your child is never one of hundreds. Your clinical team knows your child's name, their goals, and exactly where they are in their program, because that is what great care requires.
Evidence-Based
Every technique we use is grounded in peer-reviewed science across ABA, OT, and SLP disciplines.
Family-Centered
We treat the whole family, not just the child. Parents are active partners in every aspect of therapy.
Credentialed Team
BCBAs hold NJ LBA credentials. OTs and SLPs hold NJ state licensure. All clinicians are fully credentialed.
Small Caseloads
We limit caseloads intentionally so every child receives the attention and coordination they deserve.
Insurance and Payment
We accept major commercial insurance plans for Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology services, including Horizon BCBS NJ, Aetna, and Cigna. ABA therapy is available on both a private-pay and insurance basis.
We chose the hybrid model deliberately. Insurance coverage removes the financial barrier for OT and SLP, which are services most families need alongside ABA. Our team will verify your benefits and walk you through what is covered before your first session.
Our Clinical Team
Palisades Pediatric Center is led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) holding New Jersey Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credentials, alongside licensed Occupational Therapists (OTR/L) and Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP). All clinicians are credentialed with major insurers and receive ongoing supervision and professional development.
